Rowena in the Community

As a family business deeply rooted in the local community, we are always looking for ways to support organisations that make a real difference to people's lives

Rowena Supports Loros Hospice

We are delighted to announce that Rowena Garden Centre has purchased "Trunk of Gold", one of the stunning elephant sculptures created for Leicester's Stomp Round Leicester art trail in support of Loros Hospice.

Loros Hospice provides outstanding care, compassion and support to patients and families across Leicestershire, and we are proud to play a small part in helping them continue their incredible work.

Created by artist Gayani Ariyaratne, Trunk of Gold is a beautiful celebration of Leicester's vibrant wildflowers and rich cultural heritage. The intricate floral artwork and golden tones make the sculpture a striking piece of art, while also representing hope, strength and community spirit.

Following its purchase at auction, the elephant has found a new home at Rowena Garden Centre where visitors can enjoy this remarkable sculpture and learn more about the important work carried out by Loros.

We are honoured to be able to support such a worthy cause and look forward to continuing our involvement with projects that benefit our local community.

If you're visiting Rowena Garden Centre, be sure to stop by and say hello to Trunk of Gold—a beautiful reminder of what can be achieved when a community comes together for a great cause.
