Rhododendrons, azaleas and camellias sulk in ordinary compost — their roots need genuinely acidic conditions to thrive. RocketGro Ericaceous Compost is blended specifically for acid-loving plants, keeping pH broadly between 5 and 6 using pine bark fines and composted bracken.

It gently feeds for three months and is full of soil- and plant-loving natural microbes, ideal for potting, re-potting and planting out blueberries, hydrangeas, magnolias, camellias and heathers, among others. Suitable for beds, borders, containers and tubs — just top up with a good organic liquid feed as the season goes on, and note it isn't suitable for seeds or cuttings.
