Dahlias are the showstoppers of the late-summer border, but that abundance of colour comes at a cost — they're hungry plants, and skimping on feed shows up fast as smaller, fewer blooms. Vitax Liquid Dahlia Feed keeps them going strong right through the season, packed with the potash-rich nutrition dahlias crave.

Enriched with seaweed, magnesium, iron and trace elements, the concentrated formula (just 50ml makes 4.5 litres of feed) supports both bigger, longer-lasting flowers and healthy tuber growth underground. Apply weekly from June to September in place of normal watering, soaking the soil around the base of the plant — it also works well on other hungry bloomers like roses and lilies.
