Delistar F1 is a quick-growing, thin-skinned cucumber bred for snacking — smaller fruits with a genuinely sweet, crunchy taste, easier on the digestion thanks to that fine skin. There's no need to peel it, so it's brilliant eaten whole as a snack, sliced into sandwiches and salads, or even cut into ribbons for drinks. It's an F1 hybrid that does well in a greenhouse border, grow bag, or pot on a warm patio from June. Train it up a wire or cane as it grows, and pick regularly to keep fruits from becoming overripe. Sow indoors February to May, and you'll be harvesting from June right through September.
