Unwins Brussels Sprout Brechin F1

Brechin F1 is a reliable Christmas-cropper, producing a heavy set of deep green, uniform buttons all the way up the stem. This F1 hybrid stands well through winter weather and carries good disease resistance, so you're less likely to lose a crop to poor conditions. Sow February to March for a harvest running December through February — perfect timing for festive dinners and beyond. The plants grow tall, up to 75cm, so firm them in well and incorporate fertiliser into the bed before planting to guard against wind rock. Net young plants against birds while they establish.
